HEY, I’M SARAH!

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and now, I’m a SASE Sales Engineer at a leading technology service distributor, AVANT. I’ve always had a love for blogging and writing, so merging that with my career was a no-brainer.

In my role, I help companies make informed technology decisions by understanding what their current environment looks like and the issues they’re facing, and recommending providers and platforms that will help get them to their ideal end state.

My goal with Get SASE with Sarah is to share some of the knowledge I’ve learned during my time at AVANT and help my readers understand these complex technologies.

I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago and then spent 10 years in the city during and after college. I was one of the lucky ones to continue working remotely, so I moved out west with my fiancé, Austin, and our Siberian Husky, Misha. When I’m not working or writing, you can usually find me traveling through Scotland, Poland, or our new home state of Washington.
